On July 23, 2004 Kandi Lee turned her dream of having her own company into a reality and founded One-Eleven Companies. Below are stories, events and company memories of our 5 years of excellence.

A Letter from Kandi

July, 23, 2009

It is hard to believe that 5 years have passed since I started One-Eleven Companies. On July 23rd, 2004 my heart was pounding as I drove downtown Phoenix to fill out my official business paperwork to create One-Eleven Companies. I had very little resources; no business cards, no marketing packet and no website. What I did have was a dream to create a company that would change the lives of people for generations to come. I still remember being gripped with fear as I attempted to explain my vision to others but I was committed to my purpose of causing universal change.

I set a goal to create my first client within 30 days. I attended 10 networking events a week, made 500 phone calls a week, and went on 6-8 appointments per day! I met my goal and had my first client secured within 30 days and the 2nd and 3rd clients followed soon after.

Since then we have grown tremendously. I now have a team of 6 wonderful women whose commitment, dedication and support cause me to stretch and play a bigger game in my personal and professional life. I built One-Eleven Companies as a community based organization that values contribution. I am committed to being an international coaching, consulting and training firm, to serve as an example of what is truly possible.

It has not always been easy however; I wouldn’t change one step of the journey that has lead us to where we are today. Recent awards and recognitions maybe glamorous however, I consider our biggest accomplishments to be the results that our clients create every day. I am grateful for all of the support and opportunities I have had and continue to have. To all of those that are sitting with a dollar, a dime and a penny in their pockets and a dream in their hearts I stand as evidence that anything is possible. • 111 Productions is created July 23, 2004
• 1st business bank account
• 1st Ten paying clients
• Business ran out of one desk and phone at Kandi’s home
• Joined Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce
• Kandi’s first out of town corporate client
• Strategic Partnership with Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce

2005

• 111 Productions changes name to One-Eleven Companies
• Kandi hires her first employee – Tiffany Thorman
• Sales Division is launched
• First One-Eleven Companies Logo Created
• Created 111 Consulting, LLC
• Kandi has her first speaking engagements at:

  • The State of Arizona

• Attended Mark Victor Hansen Mega Speaking Empire

2006

• The Talon Group hires One-Eleven Companies
• Coaching Division is launched in California
• 1st Contribution Event–
  • Wheels that Shine-Hacienda Skilled Nursing Facility
• 1st One-Eleven Companies Website Created
• Only female testimonial speaker at Mark Victor Hansen’s Mega Speaking Empire

2007

• Kandi created the “How to Turn a No into a Yes” Seminar in Sacramento and Scottsdale
